Art
“I like how we are encouraged to be creative and independent in order to produce personal ideas in our artwork.”
Year 10 student
Art encourages transferable life skills such as tenacity, problem solving, creativity and alternative thinking. Whatever their starting point students get the opportunity to develop their skills and enjoy a sense of achievement and reward from the artwork they produce.
Art gives students the ability not only to question but to find solutions. A wide range of skills prepare students for further education and future employment and support their achievement in all other areas of the curriculum.
