Acklam Grange GCSE Results Day 2023

Amazing from the Class of 2023 at Acklam Grange.

Everyone in the Acklam Grange family would like to congratulate our amazing students and staff on the brilliant GCSE exam results they have obtained this year. These young people have shown extraordinary levels of resilience and determination in the face of some huge challenges over their five years at Acklam Grange and we couldn’t be prouder of them all.

Many of our students have overcome significant challenges in their lives to leave with fantastic life chances as a result of their hard work and the unwavering commitment of both students and our talented staff. Acklam Grange continues to be a very special school that will not leave any child behind and the class of 2023 have demonstrated this once again.

There are many individual success stories from this amazing group of students that need to be celebrated; we have students who have achieved the highest possible grades across all their subjects or made fantastic progress from their starting points from primary school.

In a climate of rising grade boundaries across all subjects nationally and standards returning this year to pre-pandemic levels we are delighted that our students’ results have not seen the expected drop that was predicted across the country and have continued to improve in many subject areas. These have validated the hard work and quality of teaching and learning that takes place daily at Acklam Grange School.  This has resulted in more than 650 of the highest grades possible (9-7) being achieved by our wonderful students. Over 72% achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and maths. There are similar stories of success for attainment and progress across all 30+ subjects offered at Key Stage 4 and we are equally as proud of all these.

We are so proud of all Acklam Grange students for their amazing effort and hard work, no matter what grades they have achieved. All schools within The Legacy Learning Trust will continue to offer a broad and balanced curriculum to meet the individual needs of all our students and give them the best possible chances of success into the future. Well done class of 2023. You smashed it!
