RSHE (Relationships, Sex and Health Education) is a cornerstone of our curriculum, playing a pivotal role in equipping our learners with the knowledge, skills and emotional resilience needed to make safe, informed decisions throughout their lives. We believe that a robust RSHE curriculum is vital in preparing our learners not only for their time in school but also for the wider world, empowering them to thrive in diverse and evolving environments.
Our PRIDE curriculum covers essential topics such as relationships, sex and health education (RSHE), consent, emotional intelligence and diversity. Through dedicated lessons and workshops, our learners explore the complexities of healthy relationships, respect, communication and self-awareness. Our learners are encouraged to think critically and foster a respectful understanding of boundaries, helping them make responsible decisions.
In addition, we emphasise the importance of mental and physical well-being as a vital aspect of RSHE. Students learn about self-care, stress management and how to recognise and respond to mental health challenges in themselves and others. RHSE is deeply integrated with real-world learning, providing our learners with the opportunity to apply their learning in meaningful ways and develop a sense of responsibility toward their community.
