Wellbeing
In our constantly changing world we have learnt about the importance of looking after ourselves, to do so, wellbeing must take part of all elements of our lives. This includes taking care of our physical health alongside our mental health. Within the AGS Family, we want us all to feel our absolute best so that we can thrive and tackle life’s challenges with confidence. In order to do this, we want you to have a voice and a value here and know when and where to get help when you need it.
As part of our holistic approach to supporting wellbeing at AGS we are busy working on plans to provide more opportunities for everyone in our community to reflect, understand and respond to their wellbeing. So far, we have a wellbeing room where we hold our counselling sessions, a Thrive room where our Thrive and ELSA trained practitioners support individuals and groups of and wellbeing garden to give more fresh air to our initiative for healthier minds. We have a group of fantastic student leaders who are our Wellbeing Ambassadors and lead on projects in school to support wellbeing that are founded on the voices of our students.
