Click 'here' to visit the 'skills for health' website. The following Acklam Grange Pupils took part in the Skills for Health 'New Beginnings' Conference at the Samsung Centre. The following letter was received by Headteacher Mr Bate, from Anne Close : Dear Mr Bate I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing some of your year 10 and 11 students to attend the 'New beginnings' conference held on Thursday, 19 April 2007, at the Samsung Centre. The year 10 students acted as 'roving reporters' where they attended workshops and presented their findings to the conference delegates at the end of the conference. The presentations were fabulous. The two year 11 students are two of our young apprentices and they gave a presentation in one of the workshops. They are all a credit to the school. Most of the students were our young apprentices listed below. However, some were media students. Yours sincerely Anne Close Students (young apprentices) involved: Year 10: Year 11: Media Students: 9 May 2007
