STEM means Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. STEM projects give you an opportunity to work across these subjects and learn skills, which you can use in all your other subjects too. STEM activities also help to prepare you for the future and develop skills which make you more employable.

85% of employers will be looking for their future employees to have a STEM based qualification. STEM is key to your learning and will help you in all subject areas through enrichment days and events and extra-curricular opportunities.

STEM is important for all students at every stage. Activities are personalised and made relevant to where you are in your school career. STEM can open up a whole new world of ideas, which you may have not otherwise considered.

Students can get involved in STEM activities in a number of ways, experiencing learning beyond the classroom and stepping outside the norm. Demonstrations from famous television personalities, visitors from the animal world and even an experience in a mobile planetarium are all made available through STEM.
