What is Science?
Although a good question it is a question that is hard to explain.
In the dictionary Science is described as ‘the pursuit of knowledge’.
To better understand this we have split Science into its three categories and explained what each one is roughly about.
- Biology – Understanding living things
e.g. Exploring bodies (people, animals, plants and any other body) inside and out – for example: what makes us ill
- Chemistry – Understanding materials and their uses
e.g. Understanding chemicals and their uses – for example: paracetamol
- Physics – Understanding how the world around you works
e.g. Gravity and how light travels
